A Wells County native, Dr. Miller is a distinction graduate of Norwell High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Purdue University, and was inducted into the academic honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Miller received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University, graduating in the top ten percent of her class. She was also inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. While attending IU, Dr. Miller taught Geometric and Visual Optics as an assistant instructor. She completed internships at both the Indiana University Pediatric Eye Clinic, and the Northern Indiana VA Hospital, where she focused on diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and cataracts. She has also obtained national credentialing to diagnose and treat these and other medical eye conditions.
Her clinical interests include providing primary and acute eye care, fitting contact lenses, and meeting the vision challenges of presbyopia.
Dr. Miller resides in Ossian with her husband, Jeff, and sons Luke and Fredrick aka “Fritz”. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, and nature hikes.
